We are delighted to announce our newest addition-to-be!

This blog is dedicated to the newest little Damuth on the way. He or she will for sure enrich our lives, but we have no idea how it could get any better than our little Luci. I was just thinking the other day about how my life is complete now that I have had her. I never thought I would have a girl, and such an amazing girl to boot. My students (who are the only ones brave enough) have asked me, "Are you worried that you won't be able to love a new baby as much as you love Luci?" And I can see where this naive question could be coming from; I mean they are 16 year olds. However, once you bond with this life growing inside of you, you are never the same. Plus, if Luci wasn't so amazing, we wouldn't have decided to have another one so soon. So I tell them, "Your love just grows in phenomenal ways - you can't imagine it until you experience it."
My belly has grown so much quicker this time around. I am now 14 weeks, but I feel like I am 20 weeks already. I have been feeling great, but I am exhausted. Luckily, Luci and I both take naps after school, so I can rejuvenate and give her my undivided attention when we wake up. We find out on December 11 what we are having, so expect a post around that time. We are struggling with names, but so far we have come up with Griffin John for a boy, and Elena Ann, Sidnee Ann, or Gwendolyn Ann for a girl. So many decisions. So much fun!
We are due on April 30, close to the end of the school year. We plan on holding on tight to get through the next few crazy years of our lives, but we can't wait to meet this new little person who is made up of pieces of Rob and me.
